Belong to a Luxon Guild

Have been HFFF and have acquired 10,000 Kurzick Faction.

How can i maximise why return when trading in - buying skills and amber?

Return in what? Seeing as you have been HFFFing, I'm assuming you're trying to raise your kurz title. The best way to do it is donating to an alliance (you get twice the faction spent towards the title), though you'll need someone to invite you to a kurz guild everytime you need to donate. Buying skills gives double faction aswell, but there are only 10 per char; thats only 600k out of the required 10000k assuming you have 10 chars. Buying amber only gets your title up 1:1, so the time it'll take will double (though it's more money for you). Maxing the title takes about 550 hours (iirc) if you're using the double faction method, so unless you're happy to spend another ~400 hours HFFFing then I recommend either swapping to a kurz guild or finding a really nice kurz guy to invite you on demand.

In the grand scheme of things, that 10k kurz faction is worth jack squat to a Luxon, so if you aren't a "friend of the kurz," just spend it on amber and be done with it.

However, if you have other characters you play regularly... you might consider getting them to HzH so that you can complete the "Befriend the Kurziks" quest for all of them before spending the faction. That way, you won't have to spend any more time than you have to with those flea-bitten Kurzik lepers.
